This article is dedicated to a woman that I met in the grocery store last weekend. She is a counselor and I am a former counselor. I was telling her that Dr. Phil is not a doctor, not a psychiatrist, though he uses the title. This came up because we were both looking at his picture on the cover of a magazine. She wasnt surprised. We began disussing psychiatric drugs, as we both agree that they are bad for patients because we have seen the harm it has done to many, yet she admitted that she was taking Lexapro because she is trying to deal with several deaths in the family that occurred recently.
